I have a lot of outerwear for living in Northern CA. Hoodies, pull-overs, windbreakers, pea coats, a few polyester jackets that I like but seem too fragile to be the go-to.. no jacket I own is my EDC jacket.

Who here has an opinion on their personal (or dream) “go-to” best all around EDC jacket?

For me I’d think somewhere between a Barn Coat / Filson Cruiser / Carhartt Jacket, something lightly lined and great for Spring and fall that I could layer underneath for colder winter days. Quality and rugged enough for most activities. Thoughts?
