I’m wondering if there’s anyone out there that is a fan of these pants? I purchased a pair a few months ago, and they are now my favourite pair of casual pants to wear.

For those that aren’t familiar, the XFunctional Pants are EDC friendly, tactical pants. The best part about them is that they don’t look tactical, and have passed the “WAF” test (Wife Acceptance Factor). They do this by eliminating the large cargo pockets on most tactical pants, and instead, there are two small slip in pockets on each pant leg. These sit flush and don’t add any bulk to the profile of the pants. They are sized to fit a PMag.

Further, the pockets (where you normally would put your hands into) are probably the best organized ones I’ve seen so far. From the outside, each side looks like the same pockets you would find on jeans, but there are compartments inside to allow you to organize your EDC gear. There’s a knife/pen slot on each side, a small change pouch, a larger compartment, and the actual full pocket itself. It’s really hard to explain without seeing it.

    Here’s a review from Recoil:

The only gripe I have with these pants is the material. While I find nothing wrong with the nylon/cotton blend, I would have liked to also see a version of this in a lighter weight material for warm weather hiking.
