I thought I had found the (current) perfect bag with the Kifaru Urban Zippy, but it’s a little too unstructured even with the frame sleeve. My other high use is an Eblestock X4 Highspeed, but it’s too tacticool for EDC.
My kids now use a Patagonia Black Hole 25l that swung too far into urban hipster.

I am fine with ‘some’ Molle, don’t need a laptop sleeve, mostly for a stashing lots of water (non bladder) clothes, ipad, FAK, small sport specific stuff for LAX or Softball for 8-12 hours.
