The other day I see the Juice S2 on sale here for about 25% off normal price and since this is the only current model without a corkscrew(no need) and in a size I don’t yet have I decided to pull the trigger and add one to the collection.

So I get it home and “Hack” through the packaging and on first look wonder exactly how this thing can be called a Leatherman?

I am not a big Leatherman Fan usually but almost no part of this tool is near the quality of fit and finish of the next worst one I have ever seen?

The only remotely Leatherman-esque feature seems to be the plier head itself. The handles are just odd. They don’t line up,don’t close all the way,are riveted and are offset different distance from the centerline of the tool too?

There is no precision feel here with any other tool and it seems like the knife is an accident waiting to happen.

I want to like this tool but it is clearly not in the same quality range as its brothers and is really overpriced on top of that.

Considering how nice the Sidekick/Wingman are for 1/2 the price I can not see myself keeping this tool.

Are there any other really nice tools in that same size range that I just somehow am not aware of?
