I have been using a Moab 6 and a Rush 12. I have recently became a father this past January and would like to take a lot of pictures. I have bought a Nikon 5300 to take pictures for our trips and vacations.

The problem that I am having is the Moab is too small for the dslr and baby stuff. For the Rush, it stacks everything. What I mean is, either the camera goes to the bottom or the baby stuff goes to the bottom, making it inconvenient to grab one or the other.

I have narrowed my decision to these two models. I have already tried messengers, diaper dudes, etc. and I will be honest, I don’t want a diaper bag that is a commercial diaper bag.

The UCR Slingpack seems to be great for holding things in place and great for quick access.
The Side Trip seems to be great to hold everything.

Any advice would be great. I have searched everywhere and only found 1 picture of the UCR being used as a diaper bag.
A picture may say a thousand words, but I don’t think a picture is enough. I have come to my favorite place for advice. I think members on the forum are much better than any review I have read.
