I decided to put together a single bag that would have my FAK and Emergency gear in it and move it with me to the car, back in the house etc. I also wanted to be able to take pieces out and take them with me. The idea is to never actually carry the bag unless its between the house and the car. I did two FAK pouch kits inside, so if my wife goes off with our daughter I can toss her the red one or if I leave with the rest of the kit I leave the red one with them.

    C&C welcome.

I’m not first aid expert. The next class I want to take is a first aid class. I need to finish up some research and see what all of my local options are, but I want to do one before the end of the year.

I retired this bag from EDC and decided to reuse it for this project. Not the best bag for what I’m doing, but especially since I don’t want to carry it its fine.

The main goodies packed. Below will be a spread out pic.

Baofeng radio, the antenna is hidden down in there, Mora knife, chem flares/lights, and a few hundred feet of paracord.

Leatherman wave, bits, bit extender, exotac fire starter, exotact match holder with storm proof matches, extra match strikers.

Left to right, Lockpicks/rakes (in one of the tubes from ITS), serrated tenacious, Salt 1.

Some of the small and very sharp TDI knives.

I forget what these things are called, but they are lights that stick on things and run for days with full on, slow blink and fast blink. They also run under water. I think i found them mentioned on ITS a few years back.
