My CPR and basic first aid certification is bady overdue. I’m not in a position where I have to keep it up like a teacher or EMT, but it bugs me that it has lapsed. I’ve had a large variation in the quality of instruction I’ve received with the best (Firefighter/EMT) and the worst (Doctor) both coming from the Red Cross.

Is there an organization in the San Diego area that offers training with heavy “hands on” content? I’ve since figured out that I’m only protected against liability for what I’m certified for, and what the victim consents to.
