I’ve been carrying a small kit for a few years now in an Otterbox 1000 case, which is essentially just an overbuilt Altoids tin size wise. So far I’ve been just stocking it with overflow from some store bought kits from Target and Walmart, looking over the contents now as they expire or get used I’m trying to get my priorities down. This is simply a small ‘Whoops’ kit in an EDC bag, not a trauma response rig. Handy and convenient is key, nothing too obscure or specific unless it’s a true day-saver. Larger items can be carried in the bag if necessary such as gloves, CPR mask, etc.
