So I just got one for my FAK and its 3′ long. I was wondering if anyone has ever cut one down into more packable, and still useable, pieces. I want to ba able to be verstitle, but still don’t want it to be so big.

Anyone have any experience with this? I thought I’d read of this somewhere before.

If it can be usefull for smaller injuries I’d rather it be a more managable size.

My FAK is only so big and I’m happy with its size. The 3′ long SAM Splint is bigger than the FAK at this point
