I finally found one last summer in a local military surplus/outdoor supply store. That evening I used it to grill a couple hamburgers, worked very good!!! Had no problems attaching it to a handy stick. I later got the triangle shaped Light My Fire Lunch Box that it fits in, made a harness out of 550 cord and a carabiner to hang it from a web loop on my fishing pack. I have used it 6-8 times now while out fishing. Build a small fire and grill a small steak or veggies/cut up steak in an aluminum foil pouch. Prop the stick up on something so the grill is over the fire and go back fishing for 10 minutes or so, flip the grill for the same amount of time and presto…..lunch is ready. 10 minutes to build the fire, 20 minutes to cook and how ever long to eat/relax. Can grill hamburger, steak, ham, Spam, fish, sandwiches, veggies……limited only by your imagination. Not necessarily an EDC item but I plan on using it when ever I can. The Lunch Box makes a handy plate/bowl to eat from and protects the grill from any damage when not in use.
