Many of us carry a small light; they’re handy beyond imagination!
BUT, many of us don’t carry a headlamp everywhere we go (headlamps are the handiest light of all), not every second of every day. So here’s a tip you can use even with the smallest of lights…
Rip a piece of 200mph duct tape (Gorilla tape, whatever) lengthwise (maybe it’s only 1/2″ wide) and wrap a foot or so (more if you can) around the back of your light near the base. It doesn’t have to be wide, just there.
Now you need a light…
You can hold the light in your teeth (on the tape, not the metal), freeing both your hands…OR, you can stick the light behind your ear and the tape (bump) will hold it there. Now, if you need some tape, all you have to do is unwind it and voila’ you have duct tape to fix whatever.
It can go anywhere with you, it takes up no room and adds no weight.
That is all.
