Another player in the market is One Tigris. They are a company from China producing pretty decent quality tactical nylon.
This water bottle pocket is very similar to the original Maxpedition water bottle pocket with a few notable differences.

This pocket uses a buckle system instead of a zipper.

Fits a standard 32 oz nalgene easily and is tall enough to fit a variety of bottle sizes.

The only issue I have with this pouch is that it does not fit a water bottle with a nested cup. That may not be a big deal for some but for me its not good. I want to be able to use this kind of pouch for a cook kit.

Would also make a nice lens pouch. The quality is great and it’s a functional design just be aware it will not fit a bottle with a nested cup.
