Ok, I’ve had a single clip all Kydex holster that I’ve not really used for anything except around the house, and keeping the trigger covered when it’s in the drawer at night. After some reading on single clip holsters, the epiphany hit me about the clip and belt interaction.

I’ve got a 5.11 Tac belt, 1.75″ wide, with reinforcement. I always thought they wouldn’t work together, but it turns out, that super snug fit is exactly what I needed. Getting the clip to for tight on your reinforced belt keeps it stable, and in place. My 1.5″ belt would allow it to slide, twist, and generally be uncomfortable.

So, now I have another option when it comes to holsters besides my hybrid holsters. Sometimes they’re just too bulky.
