Speer gold dot in 9mm 124 grain is my preferred carry round, partially because it’s an extremely popular round with law enforcement carrying similar hardware. Seems the last couple months it’s completely disappeared. Same with the Hornady Critical Duty stuff. Certainly nothing local. Ammoseek.com shows only two sites that have any. One is low quantity orders only at high price, and the other has a REAL bad rep (and probably doesn’t actually have it at all).

There doesn’t seem to be any kind of ammo run in terms of prices going up due to supply/demand like we saw a few years ago when everyone was screaming about gun control from capitol hill (I know the president is making some small noise, but *shhh secret* he’s on his home stretch with an opposing legislative branch).

Anyone else seeing ammo shortages? What am I missing here? What’s your favorite 9mm defensive ammo, and where’s a good place to get it?
