This isn’t a knife review. I’ve had this Blue Ridge Knives Esse Zancudo for a few months now and enjoy almost everything about it.

I was in the local shop getting a gift (knife and flashlight) for a friend’s son who had never had either. After not finding what I thought I was looking for, I asked the owner to see this model. The blade shape and price point we’re compelling. It felt amazing in my hand and and opened smoothly and naturally. I got it – as a gift – immediately.
I made it 2 weeks before I drove an hour back to the shop to get one for myself. I said to myself, “Eh, $32 beater knife. Why not?”
Thing is, if BRK made this knife with nicer steel, better handle material and in the US, I’d happily she’ll out more money for it. It just does it for me.
Anyone else have a knife like that?
