I tried to go to a radio forum but there were sign in issues so I’ll ask here. Is anyone familiar with radio operation. I bought a UV5R to get my feet wet and see if I liked it. I’m not transmitting now because I’m not licensed. I’m trying to get local emergency services frequencies programmed in so I can listen in. I’ve managed to get EMS but I can’t pick up the police. Any ideas from anyone?
