I’m trying to standardize the load a carry to work with a single type of batteries and I think the type I’m going for is AA because of how common they are. Now, the price of batteries has gone so high here in Romania that rechargable batteries finally start to sound like a good alternative and now I’ve started the hunt for the best rechargable batteries and the best recharger.

One requirement that I have from the recharger is that it should be powered from a mini-usb type connector, that way, I can use my phone usb cord to charge the batteries. I’ve checked out the UM10 from Nitecore which does look really cool, but I’m not sure it charges AA and AAA, does it ?

EDIT: What battery has the same size like the AA battery ? ( what I mean by this is what battery type ex. 18650 )
