I just got my first Sig last week, a P938 Extreme, and took it to the range on Saturday. It’s got the G12 “Extreme” grips, and it was unfortunately an absolute chore to shoot (for me).
I don’t have large hands, but the grips are so slim that it forces me to grip the handle tighter, and the aggressive pattern of the grips made it uncomfortable to shoot. So, I looked online, and realized (with the exception of the Hogue wraparaound rubber grips) that there is a serious lack for thicker wooden grips for this little pistol.
So, I stopped and lowe’s, picked up some ‘craft oak’, and decided to make my own. What do you think? I can’t wait to get it back to the range. It’s gonna make a nice little carry piece, and still disappears in the pocket.
