I have bad luck with watches. I’ve broken the Timex and G-Shock watches in a short time period. I went watchless for years then decided to try again. I got an Invicta stainless steel watch and had nothing but problems; within 2 months it needed a new battery. One of the pins broke so I fixed it with a paperclip and super glue and recently I broke the band off the watch body.
I’m a Paramedic in Southern NJ. I work from Atlantic City to Cape May; Casinos, slums, fish canneries, boats, the Coase Gaurd Training Center, airports and farm fields.
I want a watch that will take a lot of abuse, something water (and blood) proof, and something with a simple design (I don’t need to know my altitude, compass heading, barometric pressure, 5 different time zones etc….)
Considering my bad luck with watches I’m hesitant to spend $400+ for something.
Any ideas or should I just keep my wrist naked and look at the phone for the time?
    Thanks
