I’m interested in getting one of those small compasses for a 20mm watch band. The only thing is all the compasses I see for this application seem to look overly plastic and cheap/low quality. Does anyone know of a quality maker of these small compasses or perhaps a custom option?

I know they must be out there because I remember my best friends father when I was growing up had a really nice one on his watch that I always admired, it was proper glass and either an aluminum alloy or stainless. He said he got his at a PX over see when he was in the marines in the late 60s early 70s. I just can’t seem to find one like his.
