I was thinking about getting something small to add to my EDC just to fiddle with. I have my phone obviously, but I hate feeling like I’m glued to that thing constantly. I’ve seen entire threads devoted to small objects carried for the sole purpose of entertaining themselves when bored.

I’ve grown interested in carrying a small metal top. I’d like a brass one because it seems I’m currently obsessed with it (brass Bullet Space Pen, brass snaps and finishings on my wallet, brass zippo. I’d love a small brass top to compliment all these.

I found this site and they hand-craft some beautiful, simple objects. Some of those being tops.

I like the idea of mine being completely one of a kind. It was a little more money than I was thinking of spending on something just to pass the time, but the more I think about it, the more I don’t mind the price (this forum is brainwashing me!).

So what do you guys think? Am I a sucker for thinking of paying $37 for a small brass top? Are there better places to find what I’m looking for online?
