I have 6 pairs of 5.11 Taclite pants in black, navy blue, grey, green and 2 pairs of khaki.

All of these pants range from 2-3 years old and are all still in great condition. In general, they all fit well and are my preference over the 100% cotton pants. The darker pants hold their color well and do not fade like the cotton versions.

Here is my only problem with these pants… my 2 pair of khaki pants have shrunk 1″- 1 3/4″ in length. They still fit good in the waist, rear and thighs, but they are short to the point that I feel awkward wearing them. The other 4 pairs of pants that I own all still fit great length wise.

Has anyone else experienced this with the khaki 5.11 Taclites?

I’m hesitant to buy a new pair in fear that it will happen again, but I’ve always been a big fan of 5.11s and can’t pull the trigger on another brand.
