So in my search for cargo pants without velcro I came across the Rail Riders X-Treme Adventure pants. I’m not sure they’re exactly what I’m looking for as an EDC pant, but as a general outdoors pant they look interesting.

Question for those who own them: the pictures on the RR site makes the material used in the front/bottom of the leg look significantly different than used in the upper/body part of the pants. Is it really noticeable in person?
