Can we pls skip discussion about the societal, LE use of force, criminal, & other issues.
Just the gun itself, pls.

First news reports a couple hrs ago said – LEO shot fleeing man in B’more protest/riot area.
Then later reports: man running from LEOs either dropped or threw gun down on sidewalk.
LEOs may or may not have drawn their firearms, but now LE rpts – no LEOs fired.

Media are reporting gun falling to ground fired.
A pbs website or twitter a/c has pic of gun at LEO feet. Sorry, won’t link.

Thoughts pls – about type of gun, and if it fired, in falling or hitting the sidewalk?
Or are ppl misinterpreting what they thnk they saw & heard?
