Just received my level 1 polymer holster from FAB Defence in Israel and wanted to give you my thoughts. The holster arrived with a paddle attached and included in the polybag was a belt loop. The material feels very strong, not at all like plastic and I understand that it’s reinforced with fiberglass. I removed the four screws holding the paddle on as I prefer a belt loop. When I attached the loop the bottom screw wouldn’t tighten up. I can only assume that the plastic at that point is thicker on the loop than the paddle. Still the three screws seem to hold the loop on fine. Maybe I’ll look for a longer screw.

There were no instructions with the holster which is a shame as I would have known that there’s a special technique for drawing the weapon. Found the answer on Fobus’s web site. FAB Defence’s web site doesn’t address the issue. Nearly sent it back. The pistol sits firmly in the holster without any rattle and I’m overall very happy with the quality of the product. The company should include a couple of spare screws and a little booklet. Can’t believe this would affect their overall profit margin much!

My pistol, a Jericho 941F in stainless steel seems to sit high up but is firmly held and didn’t fall out even when running. By the way, I’m a leftie and there isn’t a lot of choice for us in holsters (actually in most things in this world!) so thumbs up to FAB for making a left hand version.
