Many of us carry shemaghs, bandanas and all manner of handkerchiefs, but here’s a cool thing which REALLY works!

Sure you can go buy an expensive “micro-towel” from MSR or REI (or any of all manner of other distributors, some reputable, but most not). BUT….

You can just go to the local grocery store and buy a micro-fiber towel by “Scotch” (for about $3 bucks, not $25 bucks like from REI). They’re not a beach towel, but if you get wet they’ll absorb 10x their weight in water (probably a lot more than this). You can even find the same towels in the dollar store in the car section, or the cleaning section. I’m not talking about a cheap car chamois here, these are actual towels.

Work smarter…not harder, for you EDC.

(remember, some things go by more than one name. The trendy name sells for BIG bucks, but the real name is often cheap)
