My eyes have gotten older and not what they use to be. I have carried a cheap magnifier card in my wallet for years, but it never got much use. I mainly keep it as a fire starter more than a visual aid.

Yesterday I had to get my eyes dilated as part of normal checkups I have to have now and I totally forgot it was also voting day for my state. I could drive, but there was no way I was going to be able to read a ballot. I just knew I was going to have to ask for assistance filling it out.

Luckily, I remembered at at the last second that I had this thing in my wallet. I was able to vote without assistance and permanently assured this tools space in my wallet from here on out (and that space is severely limited).
