Hi guys I have a real quick question. I just bought a brand new Ruger LCR and I noticed while ejecting some shells the other day that the ejector star turned and would seat flat in the cylinder. It seems that the cylinder and the ejector rod have a flat spot milled on both of them that keeps it from turning and mine is milled to big or the rod is too small and it turns. To correct it you just have to give the ejector rod a quick twist or go to insert a round in the cylinder and it snaps right back into place (and I do mean the slightest of pressure will make the star jump right into the cylinder.) Is this normal or out of spec? I will attach pictures so you guys can see what I’m talking about.

One picture shows how far it turns and the other one shows how it sits flat. When I let go of the ejector rod sharply and quickly it does return to the correct position on its own however if my thumb or hand twists it that is how far it can twist. Thank you for your time and any answers/advice you can give me.
