This weekend I got a couple more pens and a Notebook cover.

First up is: “Made in Germany”

A Lamy (which I guess is pretty a well known brand) multipen with both ballpoint and pencil. Pretty minimalistic and engineered look to it. Metal and black. Classic German design :D

A bit top heavy but a nice multipen. Actually got two of these in their boxes. Not sure if it is a current model or not. Probably a bit older one.

The next one is more of a showstopper!
This Rollerball pen from Caran d’Ache.

And I am loving this pen. Don’t know much about it or the brand to be honest. But it is a very solid pen. Heavy and solid with a very nice black lacquer. Nice sheen to it on both the black and the silver parts.

And lastly I got this new setup for a pocket notebook.
I have been working on trying out different notebook setups and just 2 weeks ago got hold of a pack of Field Notes notebooks.
Of the different notebooks I have worked with lately these are currently my favorites.

But I wanted a leather case to hold them.

So I now have this Passport cover that seems to work pretty well.

Pretty standard cover with two pockets (One on either side) so I the two Field notes in it. The height is just enough to fit them and with the width there is no problem as you can see in the picture above. I did have to cut off a few mm of the outer cover of the Field notes to get them into the pockets though. Not optimal but the cover is really nice so I will try it out a bit.

I have been browsing the forums and finding different designs for leather field notes covers and there are some really nice ones out there. Would like one with a more saddle-leather look and with a pen holder. But this will do very well for now.
