Hi Everyone,
I’m trying to figure out what organiser(s) would be best suited for a 5.11 R12 (in double tap) and R72 (in sandstone)? I’m looking at the Maxped “Fatty” and it seems to be a well regarded item by many. One issue I’m facing is would the Fatty work well with an R12? Or is it generally regarded as too large for that size pack? What other organisers should I consider?

The second issue I have is colour. Is there any wisdom in picking an organizer colour that’s different than the pack itself (ie. for easier location?). I kind of like the thought of the Maxped organiser in foliage. I’m not sure how that will work (or not work) with the double tap and sandstone though. I’d be keeping it in the interior of the bags so there’s no fashion angle per se.

In terms of contents, I’m thinking of either making my own IFAK out of the pouch, or keeping travel items in it like multi-tool, nail clippers, flashlight, and that sort of thing.. or a combination of both. I’m new to this and have a difficult time getting my head around all the permutations and combinations of gear out there. Your assistance is much appreciated! Thanks again.
