Greetings folks. Nothing original here but am appreciative of any help in dialing in my bag purchase. I’ve done quite a bit of research so hopefully my questions are on point but feel free to let me know any errors/omissions that may may have occurred.

I’d like a small EDC bag say 15-18 L that is very durable. Price point is not really applicable but would prefer under $200 USD. I will not need to carry a laptop or tablet. Also I do like alot of organizational capability but would listen to other options.

Other thoughts include no or little molle on outside but inside would be great or any other molle like systems. Weight of pack not an issue. I am 5′ 8″ as well. The pack will primarily be used for urban adventure and work bag (work in logistics so no special need apply in work field ) I’m also open to a sling pack. Will not be carrying but option is nice for future but not a deal breaker.

I’m also open to things made USA or foreign but build quality must be top notch. I’ve carried alot of packs and manage to be comfortable in pretty much anything so that is not too much of a consideration. I prefer clamshell bags but will consider other styles if the overall product is there. I like places for for all the little bits, admin type area, alot of bells and whistles as long as they serve a function.

I’m trying for a small bag that will force me to pare down what I carry, I’d like a small profile on my back as I navigate thru the city. Not interested in packs that are meant more for camping or give that look, great packs but not my cup of tea. Tactical ok as long as low profile on outside. That’s more my vibe.
