Wondering if anyone here has much experience with using a Khard 30 with a laptop insert- Lbx or one of the velocity systems velcro ones?

Considering the back of the khard is not flat, does it end up awkward and/or does the laptop insert end up consuming 60% of the space inside the bag? I love the look and general concept of the khard, and have lots of velcro pouches already, but laptop carry with reasonable space for a jacket and other odds and ends is a must have, and I have a bad feeling the khard doesn’t really excel in this regard. Any comments, or even better pics with your laptop insert installed would be much appreciated!
