I’m just curious if anyone actually carries a slide rule as part of their edc. I’m currently an engineering student and now that I’ve replaced my Ti-89 with an nspire cx cas, I can’t just carry an extra pair of batteries in case the calculator dies in the middle of a test. My solution was to start carrying an old Pickett slide rule. I don’t have to worry about not being able to do trig or square roots anymore.
