I’ve been looking at the Leatherman Raptor Trauma Shears as a possible gift for a friend who’s helped my family quite a bit after we moved in. He’s an EMS, and some people have raised questions in different reviews about potentially infectious fluids, sanitizing them, stuff like that.

I can’t help but feel I’ve seen an EMS on this site, so if he/she has any input on the validity of these concerns or sees this thread, your input would be appreciated. In fact, any input would be appreciated from anyone.
