Need an opinion from the group on this one. I’m trying to find a medic pouch that I can attach to the front of my 5.11 Rush 24 pack (in Flat Dark Earth). I can obtain both pouches for roughly the same cost (even though the TT pouch retails for much more). But, I’m concerned about a couple of things:

1) Is the TT pouch too large for the Rush? It’s 9″ high and 6″ wide which will pretty much take up the entire lower front panel. Will that make the Rush too bulky?

2) Is TT’s Coyote Brown a close match to 5.11’s Flat Dark Earth? I know I won’t get an exact match, but if they are way off then it isn’t going to look right. Obviously, the 6.6 pouch will match exactly.

I feel that both pouches have roughly the same internal organization (zip mesh pockets). So that’s a wash.

Any thoughts? I’m looking to pull the trigger on one or the other here in the next couple of days.
