KeymasterGood evening everyone, this is a thread on what i carry in my truck for a medical/trauma bag. This bag was put together about a month or so ago because i wanted a bag for my truck. I had a Rush 12 i was using as a gear bag for some rescue equipment, however i was not using it to capacity. So i emptied its contents and started gathering medical supplies. This is what i came up with………………
The outside is pretty plain. Pair of shears attached to the molle with a carabiner. Also the main zipper pulls have been replaced with orange paracord for vizibility.
The Admin Pouch i used as my most often used things.
The pocket above the admin pouch is perfect for my Pulse Oximeter.
The main compartment is packed to the gills.
Adult Adjustable Collar
Pediatric Adjustable Collar
Bag Valve Mask
BP Cuff
Small “see through” pouch
Red Conterra Pouch (not in pic)
Inside draw string pocket there are 2 condor EMT pouches
The Mesh Portion of the Main compartment.
Ace Bandage and Tape
Hot and Cold Pack and Pocket Mask
Now for the individual Pouches!
These are the 2 pouches inside the draw string pocket of the bag.
Pouch on the left is marked with “RED” tape for Bleeding.
Pouch on the right is marked with “BLUE” tape for Airway
Red pouch is for bleeding control. 4x4s, Gauze, Shears, Small 5cc Flush
Blue pouch is for airway control. Oral Airways on the left and Nasal Airways on the Right
Red Conterra Pouch for Trauma and Bleeding. More 4x4s, 5×9 ABD pads, Large Trauma Dressing etc..
The last pouch is a dollar store clear make up pouch. I have some basic meds, Neo to go, benedryll spray, hand sanitizer and advil.I completely forgot to take pics but i also have 2 sam splints in the water bladder area. Also my stethescope was in my locker at work when took all the pics.
Let me knowo what you think.
