i have TWSBI Micarta V. 2. it writes wonderfully, but i’ve noticed that there is surface tension in the converter and that’s preventing ink flow occasionally. i read this is a known issue with lot of c/c FP. i have a work around, which is to roll the pen between my hands few times when the ink is getting lighter. but that’s rather annoying.

does anyone have any solution? add bit of soap in the ink? i tried flushing the converter with soap water and soap water doesn’t seem to have this issue. tried to take the converter apart to scrub inside with q-tip, but the darn thing will not come apart. i have seen it being disassembled on youtube, but it’s too tight and won’t come off. i heard some people and some companies put steel bearing the c/c to help break the surface tension, not sure i wan’t my pen to go clicking all the time with bearing moving up and down.
