Everyone knows pens made in Germany, USA, Japan, etc. Perhaps few people know that in Spain have also made pens too. Today there are only two major manufacturers: Inoxcrom and Styb, which make good cheap pens. But there are artisans who make handcrafted jewelry, and perhaps the most famous is Alvaro Romillo.

Handmade fountain pen, with barrel, cap and section made of ebonite. Internal mechanism made of bronze finished with gold. At the end of the barrel there is a 18 kt solid gold piece with the brand logo. Cap with a golden 18 kt solid gold lentil. Nib #9 is made by Romillopens®, melted and forged, engraved by hand in 18 kt gold. Available nibs : EF / F / MF / M / OMi / OMd / B / OBi / OBd / BB / BBB/ Italic and Stub. Can be manufactured rigid or semi-flexible. Normal or generous flow can be chosen. For nibs M and B, writing angle can be chosen between 30º, 45º or 60º, to fit your writing preferences. Alvaro Romillo make his fountain pen one by one and you can choose a lot of options (colours, nib, etc) to make a unique pen for the costumer.

In the web site of Romillo you can read:

This process begins by fulfilling the request form and sending the payment. Then, the customer will receive an order confirmation by email, including every details of the fountain pen, and an estimated delivery time. The order is processed, with a normal delivery time between 35 and 40 working days since the order confirmation date. A few days before it is ready, another mail will be sent, in order to verify shipping address and all the necessary data for the shipment.

If you wish we can meet with you 15 days before the delivery of your fountain and you can try your nib and a second alternate nib thus ensure complete satisfaction to the first.

The nib is handmade also.
