Wife brought me home a present tonight. I have been known to be stubborn about going and getting wounds sutured. I always told my wife to bring me some sutures home and I’d do it myself. She’s on for a shock when I do. I never get the wound numbed anyway. Why get stuck as many times to get it numbed as you would getting it sewn up?

The doctor in our battalion aid station taught anyone interested how to sew up a wound. They are also very useful fit short term clothing repair.
