KeymasterI’ve got an RWS Panther 34 for yard varmints. I like some of the compressed gas air rifles out there, I’m just not sure about the convenience of the compressed gas system. I’d like a good air pistol, but I just don’t know enough about them to make an educated decision as to which one.

KeymasterI would suggest the Benjamin 392. Throw on a dot scope for fun! 🙂

KeymasterFeinwerkbau 65, Daisy 747 pistols, Webley MKIII rifle.
Air weapons are great for practicing accurate shooting. Especially for pistol shooting. The pellet speed in the barrel is lower than a live round and thus magnifies any shortcomings in hold and trigger release. Added bonus is that you can use them in the backyard and pellets are cheap.

KeymasterThose are nice looking pics. Canadian Tire had a few Crosmans on sale last week – $100 off. I got excited and hit the net to research them only to find out Canadian Tires discounted price is everyone else’s regular price! I won’t be buying an air rifle from them!

KeymasterI am in the middle of rebuilding an old Sheridan (Racine, Wis) Blue Streak in .20 cal / 5mm. Needs a rear sight or a scope mount.. not sure what I want to do yet..

Click to expand…Growing up one of my best friends had a couple of these. I was always so jealous, his family all had high end firearms/archery equipment.
You’ll have to show it to us when finished, FWB!
I recently picked up an RWS 34 with the T06 trigger for waging war on the gophers that decided to attack my homes foundation under our chimney. Yes, as the wife pointed out there were other ways to achieve the desired results, but as I pointed out those methods did not leave me with an RWS. 😉
Overall I have been nothing short of impressed with the model 34, and it is incredibly accurate!

I find Canadian Tire to be overpriced on most things. I haven’t had any issues with Crossmans, if you buy one enjoy it.December 27, 2025 at 12:50 pm #143049admin
KeymasterPicked up a Benjamin Trail .22 Nitro Piston a few weeks ago. Haven’t got to play with it very much yet… But so far I’m really happy with it.

KeymasterI just got a Crosman Nitro Venom .22 for Christmas. I love it so far. Though I haven’t been able to shoot it a lot it so far is great gun. It’s a heavy bugger. It weighs more than my Mossberg M590A1 12ga.

Keymasterwhen I first started shooting IPSC/USPSA, a Daisy 717 got a lot of use in the garage…piece of heavy gauge steel on a 4×8 sheet of plywood for a backstop… target was a 9mm case hanging from a piece of monofiliament from the rafter…. don’t try to soot blacken the rear sight of a plastic pistol with a carbide lamp 😳

KeymasterThis is my pigeon and seagull eradicator…
It’s a Crosman American Classic Pistol .177 w/ a Crosman stock along w/ custom laminate furniture. It’s topped of with a cheap BSA red dot.December 27, 2025 at 12:50 pm #143053admin
KeymasterAnyone have a suggestion for a nice, overbuilt pump rifle for plinking empty soda and bean cans? I shoot at a range of 10-20 yards, prefer iron sights and would like a solid wood stock.
