A guy (let’s call him John) was in Jacksonville, FL recently working on an apartment bldg he owns. He was confronted by someone telling him to move his car that was parked on the side of a street. This is a public street with public parking. John says I am working on this apartment bldg and I will move when we’re finished. The other guy apparently didn’t like that answer so he went and grabbed a gun. He approached the building where John was working and John saw him coming from the 2nd story window. John had a buddy working on the 1st floor and ran down to warn his friend. He saw the guy still coming toward him. He yelled for the guy to stop and walk away repeatedly. The guy kept coming and pointed his gun toward John. John fearing for his life and the life of his friend fired in self defense. John emptied his micro Kel-Tec .380. He hit the guy 3 times. He hit him in his arm and leg all on the guys left side. This caused the guy to get angry and start shooting back. Fortunately, John and his friend weren’t hurt. The other guy jumped into his car and drove himself to the hospital.
John called the police to inform them about the incident and so far, that’s all that has happened.
John is now shopping for a hi cap 9mm.
And that’s why I don’t carry a. 380/micro pistol!
And I carry spare mags.
