Like the title says, does anyone like fixed blades over say 8″ but don’t really have a use for them? I really them and have quite a few; Ka-Bar, BM Nimravus, Greber LMF, etc. but I have absolutely no use for one. I live in an urban / suburban environment and I am lucky if I can go camping once a year and they are just overkill for hiking. I sometimes use them for yard work, but honestly I have more appropriate tools. I guess I am just looking for an excuse to use a bad arse knife. Whenever I see one that looks nice especially at a good price, I have to resist the urge.
