So I got a Nooelec Dvb tuner r820t chip, to use with my Kindle Fire HDX. Loooooong story short, it’s just not gonna work. The HDX isn’t going to support Usb host control or the OTG cable. I’ve used the dongle with SDR Touch on the desktop with no problems, other than all the interference from everything. I specifically got a whole setup of OTG cables, powered usb hubs, the dab dongle, etc. so I could use this on a tablet or smartphone running android, and go outside or camping with it. I even tried it on a decently new LG Optimus Q phone, and still no luck running SDR Touch on Android.
So, who uses Sdr Touch on their tablets, and what tablets do you use?? Thinking of getting a cheap $30 tAblet with android 4.x and trying to run it on there…
