Anyone using a Garmin Alpha?

Hey EDC community, I am looking at getting some help here in regards to my next GPS purchase.
I am looking at picking up the Garmin Alpha. There are plenty of videos showing how it works and how great it is, but I am looking at getting some feedback and responses.
Of course I will use to track my Malamute when we are out in the sticks, but I am also wondering how it holds up for general use.
