Attitude Detection – whatever happened to Nitecore SENS?

I was impressed with the Nitecore SENS. It’s killer feature was brightness that could automatically adjust depending on attitude, using an internal sensor. In this way it dimmed for close-up map reading when the flashlight pointed downwards, and transitioned to full brightness when angled toward the horizon for distance viewing. Although not perfect, I found this a great feature, but the SENS seems to be discontinued. It’s a a real shame. Do any other flashlights offer a similar feature?
