Hello;

I’m new to this particular EDC, I have my Enlan & Maglite (with the serious after-market bezel)

But I’d like to ’round-out’ my nightly walks with an ‘Expandable Baton’; the problem is my limited budget.

I’ve ruled-out a Monadnock as just plain out-of-budget…

But my eye has caught the ASP P16 (I like the idea of concealable, though not absolutely necessary).

Is the ASP P16 worthwhile or is there something at that pricepoint that’s as good, better, or even cheaper?

OP*I*SPL*N*T dot com has it (ASP P16) for a very affordable price, but their customer reviews online are negative and hesitate me purchasing from them.

Any recommendations for the ASP P16 (or P12/P21) are appreciated along with a legitimate seller and perhaps a discounted or promotional price.

A dealer besides http://www.asp-usa.com selling legitimate ASP Batons for less would work for me.

I don’t want something I’ll regret buying in 6-months, and can’t afford to waste $.

We all know what it’s like out there, too many ‘fakes’ and too many ‘wannabes’.
