Well our old Sony camera finally kicked the bucket (lens got jammed with something and cant open) it is possible to repair but we wanted something a bit smaller. My dad has been looking at the Canon Ixus for a while now. but our main points for a digital camera are small but not too small (comfortable in hand and not too fidgety), 5mega pixels is about as good as we need, quick shutter speed reasonable zoom (not sure on whats good), preferably less moving parts like extendable lens when turned on.
