I know there are alot of great pens out there. However, I was looking for the lightest, smallest, pen I could attach on my keychain. Something to sign a receipt, or jot down a phone number, or a list, etc.
Wanted to share how impressed I am with the True Utility Telepen. The thing is small and thin! About the thickness of a smaller size standard straw and about 2.5 inches long closed. It is super light It telescopes open to about 5 inches. It snaps securely into its cap and takes a slight effort to take it off the cap so it is not going anywhere.
The ink refill is tiny. This thing is not meant to write letters or to keep notes on a daily basis, but it is great for jotting things down. I can’t believe I have used it as often as I have. I have a victorinox manager knife with a built in pen, but it seems to be always falling out. The True Utility pen has never failed to work. It comes with 3 refills, but I haven’t used the first one yet in about 6 months. Like I said, it is primarily for jotting stuff down when you are in a pinch.
Never have to ask the bartender anymore for a pen to write down a girl’s number….I still like getting a girls number on a bar napkin vs. “putting it in my cell phone”. I think the girls like it too…kinda old school these days, it’s more personal.
No, I don’t work for True Utility. Just love this pen and wanted to share the find.
