Best Keychain Clip

I have only ever used split rings. Mainly because clips and EZ release thingamabobs – like CountyCom sells – make a keychain longer, and I like a keychain to be short.

This is my EDC:

 

I blacked out one key because the flash reflection was too bright. A lot of belt key clips have the key ring hanging a lot lower – such as the ZakTool. I want it as high as possible.

I like this key clip:

 

but I’ve played with the Nite-Ize S-biners at Home Depot, and I was not impressed with the strength of the clip spring. I would like to use these clips for things I would like to remove from my keys to use them, but not if it makes this keychain longer.
