I want to see what you all think about the purchase of a new camcorder by yours truly. I don’t necessarily plan on buying one right away, but I wanted to get the ball rolling and make sure I was looking in all the right places. I want something compact, miniDV format, with firewire (IEEE 1394 for all you non-Apple users)…I would prefer something on the order of about $300-$400, but not much more than that. Ideally, I wanted to get an accessories kit from B&H, but they are just so darn expensive. What do you guys/gals think?
